Community Action Program

The Family Connection Center Community Action Program has a vision to eliminate poverty throughout Davis County. FCC operates the largest Food Bank in Davis County by providing low-income families with 3-5 day emergency food supply. Last year the FCC Food Bank provided 14,850 individuals with food. The Community Action Program also houses the Self-Sufficiency Program that assists underemployed individuals in obtaining a living wage jobs. The Support Services Program provides families in need with emergency financial assistance for rent evictions and utility shut off. The Transitional Housing program is a scattered site housing program that assists homeless families in obtaining permanent housing through intense case management that assists families in resolving issues regarding poverty.
